Job Summary: The Project Controller (Power BI Dashboard) provides vital support in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of interior fit-out projects. This role combines expertise in project controls, data analytics, and information management to deliver actionable
project insights to senior leadership. The Project Controller is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust digital folder structure and a central document repository, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Controls & Analytics
• Develop, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as project schedule, cost, quality, resource allocation, and risk status.
• Collect, consolidate, and interpret data from various internal sources (e.g., project management tools, ERP, site reports) to provide real-time and historical project analytics.
• Monitor project performance against baselines, flag variances, and work with cross-functional teams on corrective actions and mitigation.
• Support the CPO and leadership team with data-driven insights for decision-making.
2. Reporting & Decision Support
• Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc executive reports and presentations using Power BI and relevant visualization tools.
• Ensure all dashboards and reports are accurate, up-to-date, and tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing data and visualize findings for easy understanding and strategic action.
3. Folder Structure & Central Repository Management
• Design and maintain a standardized digital folder structure for all project documentation, ensuring consistency across all projects (e.g., site documents, drawings, contracts, reports, correspondence).
• Oversee and administer the central repository (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, or DMS); ensure accurate filing, data integrity, and timely updating of all project-related documents.
• Implement version control and access protocols to guarantee that the latest approved documents are accessible, archived documents are retrievable, and file security is maintained.
• Train and support project teams on document management processes, naming conventions, and best practices for document storage and retrieval.
• Conduct periodic audits of the central repository for compliance, completeness, and security.
• Continuously improve folder structures, access protocols, and documentation workflows as organizational needs evolve.
4. Data Governance & Collaboration
• Collaborate with project managers, planners, procurement, and execution teams to source accurate data and support dashboard/report development.
• Maintain strict data governance standards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and alignment with company policies.
• Support adoption of digital documentation, dashboards, and reporting tools across the team.
5. Continuous Improvement
• Benchmark and implement best practices in project controls, analytics, and document management.
• Gather user feedback and regularly enhance dashboard visualizations and central repository frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction/Project Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in project controls, analytics, or documentation management, preferably in construction, interiors, or real estate.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling).
• Proficient with digital documentation tools (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive, or similar DMS).
• Strong data analysis, visualization, and reporting skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and training abilities.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of confidentiality and data integrity.
