Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Design Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Corporate Interiors/interior fit out design, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creativity. As the Design Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design t team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design work, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. You will work closely with other departments to ensure that design projects align with company goals and brand guidelines. Your role will involve mentoring and developing team members, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and creativity. You will also be responsible for staying up to date with industry trends and incorporating new design techniques and technologies into the team's workflow. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading design teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
1. The candidate is expected to single-handedly steer the conceptual designs & presentations of facilities.
2. Candidate will be coordinating with a team of designers, 3D visualizers and graphic designers.
3. Candidate is expected to have an overview of the site work on regular basis to ensure smooth workflow.
4. Candidates with prior experience of working with commercial projects (office buildings) shall be preferred.
5. Candidate should have prior experience in Client facing roles. Should be able to prepare, present & convince design presentations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Candidate should be well versed in space planning of office projects in AutoCAD.
• Candidate is expected to meet deadlines and maintain quality of deliverables.
• The candidate is expected to have knowledge of current market materials and vendors.
• Experience in Site coordination and exposure to vendor interactions.
• Candidate is expected to have team development skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail is must.
• Strong interaction, communication, sketching, and presentation skills expected.
• B.Arch/M.Arch/Masters Degree in Interior design
• AutoCAD, MS office, Basic Sketchup, Photoshop
• Mandatory - More than 10+ experience specifically working on commercial/ corporate interiors design projects (Co-working experience is preferred)
